Program Overview
The purpose of the 24 month-Administrative Fellowship Program is to support and prepare those interested in pursuing a career in Healthcare Leadership.
As an Administrative Fellow you will be responsible for collaborating with team members from the C-Suite to the Front Line to promote a patient experience that results in positive healthcare outcomes.
Under the direction of a Fellowship Preceptor, the Administrative Fellow will be exposed to various departments within the organization including:
Ancillary Services
Nursing
Facilities
Operations
Pharmacy
Revenue Cycle Management
Medical/Dental Services
Essential Functions
Lead projects that develop analytical, leadership, finance, and healthcare operations skills.
Exhibit an understanding of health care administration, health industry trends, and an understanding of the organizational structure and mission.
Support project and operational needs through data analysis, interpretation, and presentation.
Participates in department quality improvement activities, staff educational programs, attends departmental meetings, and demonstrates and maintains clinical competency in the delivery of patient care services in accordance with company guidelines.
Ensure communication of goals, objectives, policies, and procedures both up and down the chain of command through meetings, huddles and other forms of communication.
