A statement from CareSTL Health:
On April 12, 2021, the Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a “pause” on the use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine until further notice.

CareSTL Health has not administered the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. We have only administered Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.  CareSTL Health will administer the Moderna vaccine at our upcoming mass vaccination clinics scheduled for April and May.

CareSTL Health administrators and providers will continue to closely monitor this evolving situation surrounding the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. CareSTL Health providers will follow the CDC and the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) guidelines and recommendations. Our priority is the health and safety of our patients, staff, and community.
