Michelle Grimes

Dr. Michelle Grimes is a doctoral-prepared board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Michelle has always enjoyed nursing and during her career has held many roles as a nurse. Always searching to better herself and be the best she could be, she has always found her way back to education to quench that thrust. Michelle has been a nurse for over 30 years. She graduated from Chamberlain University in 2017 with a terminal Doctoral degree in Advanced Clinical Practice Leadership and the University of Missouri St. Louis with her Master’s in Nursing with a certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014.  Michelle also holds a MBA from Fontbonne University and feels having a nursing degree as well as a business degree is having the best of both worlds.

Michelle has worked several jobs as a nurse practitioner in addition to over 35 years in other nursing specialties in a nursing role as well as a managerial role and currently works as the Chief Nursing Officer for CareSTL Health which sees over 25 thousand patients a year. She is the first Chief Nursing Office for CareSTL Health. Michelle and her team through the organization have served the community through testing for COVID- 19 and organized a team for COVID-19 testing that spans throughout the state testing thousands and making the testing to areas where they may not have been available. Michelle’s area covers not just nursing for four clinical sites but also Case Management, Health Home, Nutrition and Education and training for all patients and staff.

Michelle is a wife, mother of three children and grandmother of nine. When not caring for patients, she is spending time with family, her church as a First Lady and traveling.
